Learn about snow days

Hello! Let’s learn about snow days. A snow day is when school is cancelled due to unsafe roads. School buses and families cannot take children to school safely. There may be snow and ice on the streets. Some states get snow all winter, others rarely see it.

Snow days bring joy to children and teachers! You can build a snowman, make a snow angel, build a snow igloo, go sledding, and throw snowballs.

Here are some things to do when you get back inside after playing in the snow:

-read by a fire

-drink hot chocolate (with mini marshmallows)

-build legos

-listen to yoto stories
