book review: My Father’s Dragon

Hi! Today we are going to review the book My Father’s Dragon by Ruth Stiles Gannett.

I am so excited I can barely talk! Let’s begin.

This book is about a young boy named Elmer Elevator who runs into tigers, lions, gorillas, and alligators before he finds a dragon. He also has to avoid scary wild boars. He is trying to rescue the dragon on Wild Island.

I think you will like reading this book because there is adventure. The chapters are nice and short. There are beautiful maps too. It will knock your socks off! I give it a 100 out of 10.
